Actually - I wanted to join the Communist Youth League when I was nine, but my father put a stop to that. I was really into this whole Guatemala solidarity thing. So my roots are not socialist - more like Trotskyite.

In any case, an industry-wide agreement may be necessary if several parties hold vital IPR. That's true no matter what your roots are.
