William, Hopefully no one will mind if I pollute this thread with info about another stock, and there is always the IPMCF thread. IPMCF is quite the unusual situation. It already claims to have found VERY large quantities of gold, platinum, and some other metals in the desert sands 90 mi. outside of Phoenix. The problem is that no one seems to believe them because the 'dirt' metal mix does not fire assay very well. They have developed an extraction process and claim consistent levels of 0.25 oz./ton gold and 0.50 oz/ton pt. They've drilled 1 sq. km with about 120 holes to 100ft. They believe that the deposit is fairly consistent throughout at least a 6-9 sq km area. They are drilling now to test this extended area and down to bedrock at about 400ft. You'll probably think I'm crazy when I give you these figures but with any consistency out in these areas and $50 oz in the ground the stock price goes into the atmosphere. I tell people that the stock will go to either $2 or $200, currently at $9. I think the potential is easily $2000+. This is huge!
Now I and the people over at the IPMCF thread try not to get too carried away until we get verification. They now have two world class consulting firms working with them to verify their extraction process and plan for a production facility. Behre Dolbear is already late with their verification report by about a month. People who have called IPMCF are reporting that things are going well though. To me this is the critical point, once they get verification through these third parties the sky is the limit.
The management has extensive experience and seems very reputable. They have set things up to extensively verify their process. They also have other properties and are doing the things that indicate they are sincere. Even if you put the odds at 30% that things will work out, 100 to 1 returns give you excellent chances. I'm probable in the 75% confidence range. You have to do your own dd. You can start at ipmcf.com
It is highly recommended by Jay Taylor, Ron Struthers, and Claude Cormier is also in it. The Midas Fund has about 300,000 shares and Capital Group of funds owns over 10% of the company. There are short sellers targeting the stock after it's last big move from around $3 to $14 so it makes for a lot of excitement. Large inside holdings.

Sorry to go on so about the stock but I do get excited also and have not had much luck explaining it to those non mining, limited investment experience people I've talked to. If you look into it let me know what you think.
