Glenn, I personally stay away from momentum stocks because the only way for me to profit is for someone else to lose. I don't like that game. I have shares in Terex equipment, which I believe is very under valued. If I sold them to you I would have no worries that you feel I cheated you. It is a profitable business and basically depends on the construction business for its profits. If you bought the shares and the economy went into recession, you'd understand that I did not steal from you. But these other stocks are not like that. I don't think you'd feel good selling your amazon shares to your brother or cousin. You would only sell them to a complete stranger whose loss would not cause you embarrassment.

You know last year after I lost retirement money on shorting amazon, I felt upset enough to just trade in a hyper way until I recovered it and then some. (Edit) . Well I don't need that anymore and don't want anything to do with the people who do it while denying it. At least HJ is honest about his logic.
