Hubert, TheTruthseeker is misdirecting a little here. The idea I suspect behind the short campaign is not necessarily to drive the stock below $5 and then cover.. the goal seems to be to drive it under $5 for long enough to trigger accross-the-board margin calls (as the stock will no longer be marginable), which would cause the last wave of selling and drive the stock further down. The margin calls have started and the covering, from what I am to understand, I supposed to begin at 2pm on Tuesday - at least that's when one person said that they have to cover by.

So the price has no magical number to it necessarily - the shorts that stood in this want to drive it down for the watershed margin call. I think it's like a "hat trick" for them... something to have reveries about while smoking cigars and sipping single malts...
