Good for your father. Family guidance is very important.

My point is that it is hard for me to believe that "the industry", especially Nokia, is making WCDMA deals without knowing who holds the essential IPR for WCDMA.

Why is an industry wide agreement necessary? There was no industry wide agreement for IS95. I thought IPR was licensed on a case by case basis, with early licensees getting the best deals. It will be interesting!
