the covering, from what I am to understand, I supposed to begin at 2pm on Tuesday - at least that's when one person said that they have to cover by. One of three things has to be true: 1) The person was speaking of a buy-in notice from his broker, meaning that he is liable to have a cover order executed for him at that time if he does not cover earlier. Whether the buy-in will occur as threatened is anyone's guess. 2) The person was feeding you one heck of a line -- I have never heard of a group plan to cover a short at a given time in the future. It wouldn't work anyway, everyone would just cover early, thus assuring that the high price for the day would come right at 2:00pm. 3) You're making this up. Grub.
