On the other hand, that little cute boy got Americans to talk about Cuba and to recognize the problems that exist on that tiny island 90 miles away. Once back in Cuba, Elian can be a symbolic Dove of peace. Americans can recognize the humanity that exists on that island and extend their hand in a gesture of peace. Such a small gesture of friendship can do more that a million pounds of bombs and tanks. In playing the role of Reno, did you not imply that had you been her you would have talked to the relatives peacefully rather than send in the troops? Then I submit to you to practice what you preach and deal with Cuba peacefully. You might be pleasantly surprised to see how nice human nature can be. Cheers Vince
