Very true that TA does not take into account various things. But It does point to dark clouds down the horizon or sunshine. The recent earnings reports should be a good case as we saw outstanding and in some cases superb earnings reports. The market ignored the numbers and sold indiscriminately any way.

I am absolutely positive we will see qcom back at 200 and gmst at 100 and rest of our stocks back to their old time highs in the future,When that may happen is another story. It can be 1 year or 5 years from now.I am also not second guessing the GG theory and investment philosophy.

I also believe that we will go through many more massive rallies and massive corrections/crashes in the years to come and it is imperative to develope some sort of strategy to protect yourself. The tools or methods used is up to the particular investor because after all its your money and financial well being. Some of us are LTBH no matter what and that is admirable.

My personal feeling is that,I prefer not stand in front of a moving train next time and step aside and will study and learn as much as I can(FA,TA,Economic Indicators) to see the warning signs.

Its hard to watch a portfolio get decimated from its high by 70% and not question my decisions in March and April .
