There is mucho talk about the Fed. raising rates 50 basis points in June and retaining the bias. The history of 1994 shows that every time they moved 50 basis points, they did nothing at the following meeting. Why? Because they probably wanted to see how much damage they caused by doing a 50 before doing it again. I think the most we get if anything is 25 basis points. To think otherwise is to think that the Fed. wants to kill the economy. We are not there yet.
