The Canadian Venture Exchange has accepted for filing an option agreement
announced March 3, 2000, between Gold City Industries Ltd. and
International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. pursuant to which the company can
acquire a 75-per-cent interest in the Myrtle and Proserpine mineral claims
located in the Cariboo mining district, Wells, B.C. Gold City Industries
Ltd. has an option with Newmont Exploration of Canada Limited to acquire
these claims. The consideration is 100,000 shares of the company to be
issued to Gold City and $140,000 in cash payments and work commitments to
be paid to Newmont under the agreement with Gold City.
The CDNX has also accepted for filing a sale agreement dated April 3, 2000,
between John Bot and International Wayside pursuant to which the company
can acquire mineral claims (tenure No. 375059, 375060, 375061, 375062,
357063 and 357062) located in the Wells/Cariboo region of the Cariboo
mining division, in consideration of 15,000 common shares of the company. A
10-per-cent finder's fee of 1,500 common shares of the company is being
paid to Stephen Kocsis. |
