Dan, I wasn't aware there was such a position (Solicitor General) in the U.S. government. Could you possibly be referring to the Attorney General? There is no doubt that Mr. Klein has the backing of the current Attorney General, Ms. Janet Reno. Chances are good that whomever is elected in November will appoint a new AG. Perhaps the new administration and AG will pursue this case with equal vigor to the current cast, perhaps not. Doesn't matter, Microsoft or Microsoft(s) will continue to dominate until another company with a better business plan, better marketing, and better management presents itself. There is no such company ,yet, but as sure as time waits for no one there will be. The only question is when.
