The only hope for you at this time is a counter offer from another bidder. Right now the entire tech sector is beaten down. Buyouts will be more than welcome for lots of companies. As again, cash is king! I was hoping for at least $ 25 for summit by middle of 2001 - now I have to make that $ 6 elsewhere - opportunities are too many for that - so you should also take the money and put it elsewhere - try AFCI, SSTI, VISX, XICO, PMTC - these should give you at least 50 % return within a year!
