rruff, maybe, just maybe..., shorts are not trying to "scare", they are simply voicing their opinions, negative as they may be, on stocks that you seem to think are great. No one is manipulating anything, if manipulation was possible, i doubt many shorts would even want to short, instead they would try to squeeze and corner markets. HOWEVER, the floats and the market in general are simply to large to do anything like that. How many times are you going to buy a hyped up stock watch it peak and then plunge while you are left holding the bag. If you were not so engrossed with this absurd idea that certain individuals could even have the power to manipulate stocks down, then maybe you would realize why you are doing so poorly in hyped up garbage. In the end run, stocks and the market in general are going to level off at some price that is, at least in some degree, related to the true value of a company and its performance. We are simply better at figuring out what that price is than you, thats all. |
