Any big plans for the weekend, Joe? No plans! I will be spending the weekend away from home by myself. I may mix up some bourbon slush and do some writing this weekend. (Bourbon of course was believed to have been discovered by a Baptist Minister.) I have some thoughts I been meaning to put to paper (actually an electronic file). I have an interest in theology and have been contemplating a book on how fundamentalist religion is used to control people and to make them co-dependent on their church. I believe that a healthy spirituality frees one to become all they can become. Unfortunately, I believe that organized religion often stands in the way! The working title for the work is: In Search of Freedom: the confessions of a religious addict.
