Skeets, Amazon's reviews are much better than anyone else's. Sometimes they get a bit bitchy, like Yahoo's chat rooms, but at least they allow opinions that are not just raves. Barnes and Noble does not. If you write a rave, it gets published. But if you say anything in the least bit critical, they don't publish it because you "broke the rules." One of the rules is to not say anything negative about the author of a book. Huh???!!!!! Are we supposed to assume a lousy book came into being through spontaneous combustion.

I have written clone reviews for both and they were all published by Amazon and at least 5 were rejected by B&N. Some were not nice, but they were hardly obscene or libelous. This scam gives a false impression as ALL of the reviews that pimp the products are published. I think the avg. rating for books and CDs on BN is about 4 1/2 out of 5. <g>

Anyway, I buy from Amazon any time I know they are losing money on the deal. For example, I bought our buddy Dave Feldman's game when they had it on sale and offered both a $10 coupon and free shipping. Make money on that one, one-breasted woman.Com. <g>
