Del Roca shows sharp rise in first quarter Del Roca Energy Ltd DRQ Shares issued 15,190,089 2000-05-25 close $0.5 Friday May 26 2000 Mr. Stanley Odut reports Del Roca Energy has completed its financial and operating results for the three-month period ended March 31, 2000. Revenues increased 159 per cent from the comparative prior-year period with increased sales volumes contributing one-third of this increase. Net income for the quarter was $206,000 compared with $3,000 for the prior period. Further drilling, including prospects for oil and shallow gas, is anticipated for the second quarter. In addition, Del Roca is investing in field infrastructure at Modeste Creek to reduce operating costs and conserve solution gas. Highlights for the first quarter of 2000, with comparatives for the corresponding 1999 period include:
