lt, i agree that he will break the economy, however, i don't think that is his purpose. he REALLY wants to increase money supply in a way that makes people feel rich and happy so he can be popular, his buddies can get fat and REALLY rich and his boss' party gets re-elected.

it is a policy paramount to giving everyone in the country $100k for being good people. the reason that policy won't work is obvious. this is the same reason his past policy can't work either.

inflation has been running wild in assets for quite a few years. this is congruous to everyone putting their $100k alan.com printed and gave them in the stock market or homesthat. sure, consumer inflation is low... but asset inflation would skyrocket... and it has...

at some point folks figure out the dollar is being devalued in a big, big way. why? heck, there is twice as many of them! normally, this would cause quite a few problems. however, the world economy has been beaten down so badly that folks view the dollar as the de facto currency.

this kind of game can only go on for so long and then... WHACK! the economy is wrecked and we are worse off than if the game had never been played.

so... alan.com will wreck the economy... but not by design...
