Mark - I have also been observing this. Oracle on NT is horrible unless you go with a DEC Alpha box. Compare with my statement that Oracle on Sun is becoming more marginal by the day. New maxed out UltraSparc II I worked on recently was a dog. It was tuned by experts. Management wasn't happy and is looking for longer term better performance alternative and more scalability. >>The promise of "port to NT and sales will explode" hasn't panned out for a number of vendors because the hardware and OS services simply aren't compelling<< Regards Jeff
