As for politics, the initial consent decree case , which also took place in the Clinton years, was settled much in Bill Gates' favor. The initial consent decree took place not only in the Clinton years, but also after a golf game between Clinton and Gates. People on this thread holler about how Clinton is behind all this. If Clinton hadn't tried to "feel Bill Gates' pain" and meddle in the original case, MS would have been broken up years ago. -Russ
