ATHM's network can't transcend the cloud.

I disagree with gpowell's statement above. I want your take on it as it is fundamental to what I keep stating. ATHM CAN transcend the cloud. Bring the content onto the network and the cloud is gone for ATHM subs. This is simple. What am I missing? There is no cloud for ATHM users who hit CNN.com when CNN.com is directly linked to a core router on the bone. If CNN.com has this configuration then ALL CNN.com competitors are compelled to do the same. End of story.

Where have I gone wrong? This is a business.
