Just to throw in my 2 cents ... I think there are several reasons people take issue with Anthony:
1) He's right. When he shorts a stock, he's found a weakness, a hole, that long term loyal shareholders have overlooked. Left unexploited, the stock may have kept its shareholders on the path to moderate gains.
2) He's arrogant. No one like to be told that they're wrong, no one likes a gloater.
3) He's got some Jerkballs for friends. Pluvia, Bear Down, Truthseeker ... there are more. Once a stock has been shorted, taken out, TKO'd, these guys hang around to jeer and poke at the body. Ain't classy. If you're shorting and made your bucks, move on. What's the point in hanging around tossing insults.
4) No one likes a hypocrite. Anthony may be brilliant, a genius, and he's made a lot of money for a lot of you folks. He also broke the law in order to make money. Personally, I could care less what anyone has done in their life short of murder or child abuse. I just find it a little hard to swallow that Anthony is saving mankind by exposing scams when his "expose" involves great financial gain for him and his followers. Its a great insult to those who devote hours of time, personal sacrafice and commitment to a cause, without reward, to say that Anthony is benefitting anyone but himself and the rest of you who invest in an pooled offshore account for the purpose of shorting a security.
Do I fault you? No. What you're doing is legal. For now. But y'all are doing this because you're making money and oodles of it. If you confuse what you're doing for some sort of crusade for Good, just tell me how many of you scam busters would be out there if there wasn't money to be made.
