That is what they wanted to do with the Pump but my system is so sensitive that I can't take enough medication to rid the pain completely. I either get sick or fall asleep. In the hospital I vomited several times and they kept lowering the medication until it was useless to have to going at all. I panicked the nurses on several occasions with a severely low blood pressure and they were unable to wake me. I'd wake up to a couple of nurses and doctors hovering around me..
"What's up doc?" - "Not you there missy...".

I'm the running joke at Stanford Hospital.

So, I can't take enough to help completely but fortunately I have good moments where I don't need that much medication. On bad days I just take what I can and go to bed - watch Jerry Springer or something. LOL! See, that way I KNOW there are people worse off than me!

Actually, I can't deal with Springer but I have watched Maury and Montel.

:-)
