Nice summary of the high points. It does sound a little too good to be true.

Wafers: I don't think anybody will be arguing with this. Going from 600 to 800 from early April to late may is very credible

I agree.

200 CPU per wafer: That's better than most of us expected. Most of the calculations I have seen here extimated 100 to 150 CPU per wafer.

Better yields and .18 to .15 shrink?

Thunderbird at 1,5 GHz: Michael Kannelos on News.com predicted Thunderbird of up to 1.25 GHz at introduction. This is again about 20% better.

Some people are reporting 900 cores in 750 parts, so the current sweetspot could be as high as 900. If the move to copper is worth 10% it takes us to 1GHZ. Then the shift from .18 to .15 combined with a little speedpath work would make a 50% increase in the sweetspot to 1.5GHZ sound reasonable.

Sledgehammer samples by year end I don't think anybody expected samples before the end of Q1 2001 the earliest

This is a surprise if true.

130nm samples in Q4 2001: Again at least 1 quarter ahead of expectations.

They showed .13 production beginning at the end of this year at last year's November CC.

70% yields: This is fantastic! I think the best guess has been 50 to 60%.

Sanders keeps stating for the record that Dresden yields are better than Austin yields.
