It is my belief that the MM were somewhat taken by surprise by Q last year. Here was a upstart company of which they had a negligible inventory that was the star of 1999. In their mind this "abomination" had to be addressed. They needed inventory, but "their inventory" was in the hands of a bunch of "small fry". Clearly this situation could not be allowed to continue. What better way to squeeze the inventory out of the small fry, than have the stock price plummet to less than a third of its high? I suspect that we are seeing the beginning of the evolution of Q's stock toward the more "controlled" situation alluded to in the aforementioned post. If this is true, be careful. The stock price will be only marginally correlated with company performance. Much more important will be the Cabal agenda. I'm not sure of this yet because Q is much more immature than INTC.
