The only comment I'd make is that there's a big difference in market dominance among the companies listed.

Lam is going head to head with 2 of the gorillas - TEL and AMAT. They're playing a game of leapfrog. One year Lam may have an edge but AMAT will almost certainly keep coming at them, etc.

Similarly, AMAT is now beginning to produce results from its acquisitions of a couple years back and introducing products which compete with parts of KLAC's line. I'd expect margin pressure on KLAC in the coming years as AMAT probes deeper into that product set.

In any case, I still see a strongly rising tide in this sector for more than another couple years. That should raise all but the leakiest boats. ;^)
