rich, "client restoration is coming from an image file done shortly after the OS itself has been installed" is this really backing up? i'm confused. how is anything current being restored? you said, "when working on basic network machines, blowing away the OS and re-installing from backup is often faster, and less tedious than an anti-virus sweep", so i figured that there are some kind of incremental saves being done. forgive me, i'm sure it's my lack of knowledge. but i enjoy the topic, so i must ask... :) mark
