That's generally the path quite a few people take with regard to information which doesn't fit their preconceived assumptions. If they can't discredit the information. Then discredit the source.

I prefer to read all sides of an issue and come to my own independent conclusion based on what strikes me as being closer to the truth. Besides, how can you tell for sure something is written on the web from a particular country? Writers can live in all sorts of places today and work for all sorts of companies via the web.

Although I also enjoy foreign sites such as the Economists, they have no more lock on the truth than American ones if you ask me. That's simply stereotyping.
