All JMHO

And you are certainly entitled to it. My own differs a bit.

they got a face-saving deal with DDI

I guess I missed the details of the DDI deal. I've seen some unfounded speculation about it, but if you could point out the definitive post I'd appreciate it.

DDI totally dissed them in public.

Again I must have missed that. I recall DDI being very circumspect and there being a lot of third party comments. Again, if you could be so kind as to provide a link.

Is this a 10-million-subscriber buildout commencing THIS YEAR? Anything less means QCOM is being tossed sloppy seconds.

Again my memory may be failing me, but my recollection was only Unicom (and not QCOM) discussed the 10 million. In fact when pressed about the figure Q's response was that it was ambitious. I certainly don't recall any "cheerleading" wrt to 10 million on Q's part, but if you have a link.

As for China dissing Q, well I suspect things are a bit more complex than that. With many competing factions and an overarching goal of China first, I believe one should not be to surprised what comments are likely to ensue. As to the final result as I posted last fall I expect Q to be significantly involved and I believe the Koreans will be invaluable allies. But as you said:

"All JMHO".

Hanging around...
