I have been playing CTXS since it dropped. I don't believe that MSFT
can buy CTXS. It would be charged with monopolizing the market and/or
inhibiting competition. This has occured in similar situations with other companies in the past. If MSFT can't buy CTXS, can they duplicate the CTXS product? Probably, but it would take about a year
to get up to snuff and then again MSFT gets charged for market bashing. Last option is to find a competitor offering the same product as CTXS. I couldn't find any and apparently neither has
MSFT.

CTXS has put themselves in an improved position by offering their products for Windows and now for non-Windows programs. Take a look at
CTXS,s home page. They have an impressive list of clientele.

Overall, CTXS is a win win situation. The stock price has moved up on its own even without a settlement with MSFT. I caution that should negotiations with MSFT result in no deal, CTXS stock would go down to around $8. I do believe that this is unlikely.
