I've got a pretty concentrated portfolio, which is like the little girl with the curl. When it's good, it's very, very good, but when it's bad, it's horrid. It's also been described as putting all one's eggs in one basket, and then watching that basket. I think somebody once said the way to get rich is with a concentrated portfolio; the way to stay rich is with a diversified portfolio (I paraphrase).
