I may be posting the story behind this feat and other similar accounts of wireless ISP activity at a later date. With permission, of course. These compelling accounts are given by Dave Hughes, a long time pioneer and NSF advisor who has been involved in numerous innovative uses of spread spectrum wireless technology, and they are contained in the July 2000 Cook Report on Internet. Dave also runs Old Colorado City Communications, a wireless-based ISP which is mentioned as the donor of bandwidth in the second url, above.
