Many thanks for your response as you have always struck me as a pretty level headed person and do not go to extremes either way.I guess I am just looking ahead in to the future and want to be better prepared and have some form of hedge or partial exit strategy when We face another period like we have had. Not really fond of shorting and have not done it in the past mainly because I only follow the companies in my portfolio and find it odd to be rooting for their demise.Some one mentioned to me that means I am emotionally attached to them,which I guess I am. Any recommended literature or books would be welcomed. Best Regard, Sham
