I don't think btb is a good metric. All it really does is show a (averaged) snapshot of the backlog situation. Technically you could have increasing btb numbers with decreasing orders or decreasing btb with increasing orders. I think you really have to watch the relative change in the bookings. If the bookings growth rate slows or turns negative, that would be a clearer sign the time averaged snapshots of btb.
