I believe, but cannot quote the actual numbers, that while Ciena is involved with far less vendor financing than most of the other companies, it still is involved a wee bit...In that light, perhaps the increased spotlight on this phenomenon just might be positive for Ciena on a comparison basis.....dunno.... PS The Chromatis thread has somebody posting that he heard the Chromatis/Lucent deal is confirmed... I can't see an actual announcement so I am still reserving judgement. But if it is true, it could be "one down and one to go" for the rumors this weekend....<g> Message 13792179 PSS Just found the following article over on Lightreading which suggests we might even have another deal on our hands here in this sector...<g>...
