if Qualcomm is getting the exact same royalty rate from manufacturers (such as Ericsson) of WCDMA equipment as it is for CDMA2000 (as Q maintains), then how can Ericsson offer to "reduce" the royalty rate associated with its WCDMA equipment? Any royalties introduced by IPR created solely for WCDMA would be additional to the rates demanded by Q. What am I missing?
