Trading in Unicom's shares in New York will begin on June 21 under the ticker CHU cbs.marketwatch.com Someone needs to start a seperate China Unicom thread. I still can't find any propectus or other kind of filing on EDGAR which would tell us how they intend to use the funds raised. Until Unicom orders a significant amount of CDMA equipment, I don't know what use it is to speculate on when and how rapidly China will deploy CDMA or what kind of CDMA it could be based on the on again, off again statements of various Chinese government officials.
