Hmmm...the Star Kite..... Well, it's just a kite... but it's the most devilish one that I have... multi-coloured... has lots of little wooden sticks holding it into shape... very 3-D.... It doesn't fly like a normal kite... it does things like dance around... kind of going BOINK-BOINK-BOINK through the air... as if the air had invisible walls that the points of the kite bounce off of... Gee... I don't think I'm doing a very good job of explaining this... Perhaps this is one of those inexplicable things... I think it might be.... Think you'd have to see it... or better still... try to fly it yourself... But you need a good stiff wind to fly the Star Kite because it's kind of heavy... But I love it... especially when I take it out in the middle of winter.... on a cold, clear day... and fly it over the snowy fields... and it's the most colourful thing in sight in any direction.... Funny... because once it gets waaaay up in the air... far away from me... sometimes people driving by on the highway stop to look up at it... because... I guess... they don't know what the hell it is flying around so far up... because it doesn't look like a kite.... And because... no doubt.... what kind of nut would be out flying a kite on a freezing cold day in the middle of winter....???? (0:
