Band-Ore Resources Ltd. - High Diamond Count In Drill Core

Burlington, Ontario --

S.E.C. EXEMPTION #82-4233

WEBSITE: band-ore.com EMAIL: bandore@wwonline.com

Band-Ore Resources is pleased to report that 505 diamonds have
been recovered from 3 drill core samples weighing 97.0 kilograms
in drill hole # GQ-00-2. Sample 2B from this hole, weighing only
30.17 kilograms, contained 434 microdiamonds. In total 522
diamonds were recovered from a total of 6 diamond drill core
samples. The samples weighed a total of 219.03 kilograms from 2
short drill holes. Drill core from drill hole GQ-00-3, which
intersected the same diamondiferous dyke material, will be sent
for analysis at a later date. The dyke is thought to be 8 to 20
metres thick and is thought to extend for over a kilometre based
on outcrop located to date.

The Company recently completed this very limited diamond drill
program primarily to provide fresh representative rock material
across the diamond bearing outcrop for geological purposes, and
secondly to provide additional material for microdiamond
analysis. Lakefield Research in Lakefield, Ontario, processed all
drill core samples for microdiamond recovery. The 2 drill holes
were located 67 metres apart in the area of the original
discovery announced in February of this year. The diamondiferous
outcrop is readily accessible by paved highway and is adjacent to
an existing gravel logging road only 15 minutes from the mining
community of Wawa, Ontario. These drill holes are believed to be
the first drill core intersections of diamond bearing bedrock in
the area west of the Temiskaming Structural Zone 300 km to the
east and south of the Paleozoic limestone cover. (250 km to the
north)

The GQ diamond discovery represents a very early stage
exploration success. The Company has discovered a large number of
diamonds from relatively few, small samples taken at a number of
locations over a broad area on the property. This geological
environment, which was previously unexplored for diamonds,
includes hypabyssal and diatreme facies rock, both of which
contain diamonds. Typical diamond indicator minerals (DIM'S)
including pyrope garnet, chromite and ilmenite have been
recovered from drill core samples and are being electron
microprobed at Lakefield Research. The diamonds extracted to date
are reported of good quality, show little evidence of resorption
and are generally white and transparent, although coloured stones
have been reported. It is also encouraging to note that two large
(one carat) diamonds were found to the south of the property in
alluvial material and gem quality diamonds up to 10's of carats
have been found in the Lake Superior basin. The lack of previous
exploration for diamonds on the property, the presence of
diamonds in nearly every sample, the extremely high diamond
counts encountered in the drill core, and the discovery of
similar geological outcrops throughout the property is indeed
very exciting and encouraging.

A number of diamond experts who recently visited the property
with the Ontario Geological Survey were very impressed and
excited about the property and about it's unlimited potential to
host pipe-like intrusions. Independent diamond consultant Bill
Jarvis commented, "The presence of coarse textured heterolithic
breccia in large boulders and bedrock suggests the probability of
diatreme facies (upper level) extrusive pipe-like bodies are
nearby!"

The following are the drill sample results:
