Hi Vanni: I agree AVID has of late got some support..I suppose
PRU's downgrade was only on price..it's hard to recomend a buy
when shorts are covering, the fast rise indicates
a correction or at least a dip in the near trem..INTC investing
was likly below avids present price..a hold is often a sell in
code..seldom do you see a sell recomendation..and when you do
it means short. I see her going to $30 but think it'l be a
while and she could easy test 15 or even 12 again, a lot will
depend on the over all market. The pentium II is going to be
a problem for INTC, the market shruged it off, and intc is good
at doing a spin on it for the share holders , but pc buyers won't
take to it, and the damage will show up a few months from now,
will also hit some box makers to..Gate I think more than others
AMD and cirix will get some milage out of it, but if intc drops
it scares the heck out of fund managers and helps take down the
entire tech sector..not a lot of funds in avid yet.
