The history of the thread has been explained to me by others.
I really don't think you should presume to do other people's thinking for them. I don't feel you are qualified to do that, any more than anyone else, unless you have ESP talents so far unmentioned. If you thought I was looking for a place to post and not have any disagreement, or need some kind of "pulpit", you could not be farther from the truth. To make such an assumption is not very wise of anyone. If I expected to be agreed with, I wouldn't be posting on any thread in the first place. I hope you do not consider me stupid enough to expect every thing I say to be accepted without recourse. That would be an insult to even the little intelligence you have assumed that I have at my disposal. I meant "willing to accept" ANY post from me, or others, that differed from "core group" on the thread. Don't try to tell me there is no "core group" because it is obvious to any newcomer. You, E, Lather, Edwarda, Rambi, and maybe some others I have not seen yet. Some of the above mentioned people are very gracious and disagree with grace and poise. Some take immediate affront and lash out as if they had been stung by a scorpion.
Your post was NOT a "helpful suggestion". When you accuse me of expecting to post without disagreement, and be looking for a pulpit (with obvious scorn for the word), it was a form of condemnation instead of anything meant to be helpful.
