Perhaps there is no cliquishness, or exclusivity, but there is, definitely, a "core group". See that part of my last post to X. I have had disagreement from you but, you have always been decent and calm in your posts. I appreciate that in anyone who chooses to disagree with me. I usually am also decent and calm unless someone tries to slam me down as being a fool, uneducated, or deluded. When that happens, I return kind for kind. If you will notice, I have had a number of posts with Lather, Edwarda, and others that have been mutually even tempered, and calmly presented, even when we disagreed on a subject. That is the type of discussion I prefer but, when looked down upon, or vilified for my beliefs, I tend to get into a rumpus. Anyone can disagree with me all they want to. All I ask is for a mutual respect for each other's views, or at least, their right to say them. Nothing more do I ask. ~H~ |
