Big Bull -as a Pennsylvanian I have felt the same awe you describe at Gettysburg. There may be one even more humbling experience though. My son in law's grandfather was an Army cameraman at Normandy. He passed away recently but left a number of reels of the invasion to the family. Frankly I haven't had the courage to watch them.
