The satellite broadcasting biz is nearly pure profit once you get past the huge early costs. At least that is how the street is viewing GMH and DISH.

It is the same view with SIRI. And what is the catalyst for being short now? Not much, other than continuing Naz weakness and/or one of the launches not working. I suppose investors could lose faith in SIRI if it turns out that GMH and DISH really aren't going to be able to make big profits after all. But that realization won't come soon, if ever.
