we haven't seen capitulation selling for quite some time, excluding perhaps April 14. note that the bottom last October also was made without any capitulation selling in evidence.
and i repeat, aside from the Nasdaq/NDX/VGY, there IS NO bear market. all the other indices are barely off their highs. furthermore the utilities average as a leading indicator is saying that a sizeable rally is likely from here.
i agree on the gold stocks...i expect them to rally big.
