I wish NOTHING! I am VERY long on MSFT stock, and have been since 1990. There is nothing more I would like to see than to have Windows own the future. I merely pointed out how things have changed in the marketplace, and where the company could be doing a better job.

You should do yourself a favor and listen to points of view that you haven't considered.

MSFT CAN own the future -- IF they completely open themselves up to the consideration of new ideas and balance them against what has worked in the past.

Where is MSFT CE? It is dying, and that is a good thing. MSFT will do much better with the OS it has written for the new devices going into production now. This is the type of thing I am talking about, and one of the good decisions they have made recently.

Why don't you tell me WHY you believe "windows owns the future?"
