a period of high growth and low inflation is followed by a period where both reverse. especially if the stock market trends lower...the money flowing out of there will put pressure on goods and services prices Heinz, I am not so sure. Not what happened in Japan. And not what happened in 1929. As for money flowing out of stocks into goods and fueling inflation, I think that in bear markets most market capitalization is destroyed. Few manage to salvage their market top profits, and most of those that do tend to redeploy rather than consume.
