Like Clearworks it sounds good but notice what they say: UltraBand runs over the cable network infrastructure, but unlike regular cable modem service,... Oh, that cable infrastructure. Which? Apparently over Southern Union's ROW. SUG has to pull fiber FTTH just like Belsouth is attempting to do. That's what I was exhorting Att to do 2 years ago, but Att was smarter than me. They know what they need to now. Now they have HFC. Ha ha ha. I hope Advent and Clearworks succeed with their Pure, but it won't happen anytime soon. In the interim it is likely that their partners will absorb them, that is, after they go bust several times.
