Mark,

7794? lol, thats a lot of golf course.

What a difference those yards can make. I play with a couple of regular foursomes on the weekend. One group is always the white tees and one always the blue. I find that the better courses don't just offer more yardage for the better player, but a more difficult approach angle for the tee shot.

A course I have mentioned here before (RTJ jr design) is like that. Its called the Orchards and they play the U.S. Open qualifiers there sometimes. I would shoot 120 if I played if from the blacks. I hit a long ball, but its not the distance, but the tighter target area. I have played the course at least 25 times and have only seen one group play it from the blacks.

This RTJ Trail seems great. I think I saw an ad for the Judge in one of the Golf Magazines, but I had never really heard of the Trail before today. I just might be visiting this next winter when Michigan converts to the terrible land of ice.

Have a good one.
