Right on cue, Vignette agreed to acquire OnDisplay in a stock swap between the Internet commerce software and infrastructure companies valued at $1.7 billion, and e-commerce software maker WebMethods bought Active Software in a stock deal valued at $1.3 billion.<< news.cnet.com I know that EXLN in not directly in the B2B business but does provide SW for this sector. Also note that Web Methods purchased Active SW for 1.3B. You can do interesting things when your stock price is up there. market seems to like that deal today for WEBM as its stock is up 6 as we speak.
