Freeus, all I'm saying is that the odds are against you if you sell after a stock has dropped 10%, because there are so many -10% moves in tech stocks. There are better strategies to lock in profits. Among them:
- Sell when the charts say the stock is overbought, even if it continues to go up,
- Write calls,
- Do an equity collar,
- Sell when the price target you have in mind has been reached.
